Kaltenbach Energy Consulting is currently organizing in cooperation with the Latin America Business Association and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce a conference on “Renewable Energies in Central America – Markets and Business Opportunities”.
The conference will take place on the 5th of September 2016 in the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
Central Amercia aims at diversifying its energy supply which is highly dependent on thermal power plants, running on imported fossil fuels.
The region plans to take advantage of the huge potential it has for all of the renewable energy sources. Hydro and geothermal power have been used for decades and further investments are planned. But now the focus is also on solar, wind and biogas which are promoted by tenders such as in El Salvador.
In various presentations and discussions experts, banks and companies with local expertise will inform about the development of renewable energies in Central America. A detailed programme will be available soon on the websites of Kaltenbach Energy Consulting and of the Latin American Business Association (www.lateinamerikaverein.de). If you are interested you can write to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you the registration form as soon as possible.
